We announce the death of David P. Hall of New Castle, Indiana, born in Beardstown, Illinois, who passed away on September 21, 2026, at the age of 74. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. David will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew David will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. David’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: children: Kim D. (Hall) Moyer (Jamie), Jennifer K. Cooke (Colin), Sean D. Hall (Jessica), Justin L. Hall, and Kenny D. Hall; parents: Perry Hall Jr., Audrey (Semler) Hall, and Helen I. Bolton; brother: Gene Spears (Ruth); sisters: Dorothy Willis and Carla R. Gunn; other: Pastor Brian Neal; and 8 granddaughters, 3 grandsons, 4 great-grandsons, 2 great-granddaughters, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service (3406 S Memorial Dr, New Castle, IN 47362). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
