She was predeceased by: her parents, James Luther and Elizabeth Moses (Hudson); her husband Jay Daffron; her son Dennis Best; her siblings, Bill Moses, Walter Moses, Curtis Thompson and Shirley Wallace; her son-in-law Don Guffey; and her grandson Michael Guffey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Guffey of Kokomo, Belinda Guffey (James) of Albany, KY and Sue Ellen O'Dear (Bill) of New Castle; her brother Charles Moses (Sheila) of New Castle; her grandchildren, Doug, Daniel Guffey, Lauren Hennemann, Hillary Hoffman, Chelsea O'Dear and Bill "Ty" O'Dear; her great grandchildren, Sam, Isaac, Titus, Maloy, Maddox, Miles, Briana, Zoey, Moriah, Gavin, Kynsli, Grace and Lily; and her sister-in-law Jeannie Crowhorn. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service (3406 S Memorial Dr, New Castle, IN 47362). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
