It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Jane Davis of New Castle, Indiana, who passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Alexander and Emma Lou Smith Clayborn; her husband Marion Cecil Nicholson; and her siblings, Connie Mae Douglas and Ernest Charles Clayborn.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca King-Smith, Tina King-Pemberton, Mark Nicholson (Gina) and Mary Nicholson-Tait (Zach Jessee); her grandchildren, Jessica Davis (Shawn), David McClendon Jr., Michael Tait, Dior Pemberton, Jemara Tait, Kaden Nicholson and Maya Nicholson; her great grandchildren, Yasmin Smith and Tamika Smith; and her siblings, Deborah Merida, William Alexander Clayborn III, Anthony Clayborn (Susan) and Dianne Clayborn. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service (3406 S Memorial Dr, New Castle, IN 47362).
