It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donnie C. Hoots of New Castle, Indiana, who passed away on January 22, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hoots and Golda Hoots (Nation); and his father-in-law Homer Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Hoots of New Castle; his children, Courtenay Pierce (Brian) of Lewisville, Cassie Hart (Will) of Denver, CO, Kylee Hays (Travis) of Ft. Wayne, Katherine Hoots (Todd Harding) of New Castle and Lee Hoots of Richlands, NC; his grandchildren, Cainan Pierce, Simon Pierce (Madi), Abe Pierce, Malachi Pierce, Olive Hart, Eliza Hart, June Hays and Tilly Hays; his brothers, Jerry Hoots (Sandy) of New Castle and Jeff Nation (Melissa) of Middletown; and his mother-in-law Pat Hicks of Mooreland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
