It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Everett Ray Upchurch of New Castle, Indiana, born in Albany, Kentucky, who passed away on December 19, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ted Upchurch and Eulas Upchurch; his daughter Sandy Young; and his siblings, Ethel Arthur, Edna Anderson, Wanda Marcum, Grace Baker, Arthur, Roy, Jimmy and Gordon Upchurch.

He is survived by : his wife Elsie Upchurch of New Castle; his daughter Diana Pyle of New Castle; his grandchildren, Tiffani Simerly (Scott) of New Castle, Keith Pyle (Whitney) of Marion, Joe Pyle (Danielle) of Belmont, NC and Wesley Young (Rosanna) of New Castle; his great grandchildren, Sady, Madison, Ella, Alexis, Dom, Ryan and Weston; and his great great grandchild Jaxson.
