With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Glenda Charles of New Castle, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Glenda left this world on July 8, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora Egan and Sarah Egan (Haney); her son Michael Coomer; her granddaughter Layla Helton; and her sister-in-law Linda Egan.
She is survived by: her children, Tracy Frost of Muncie, Angi Smith of New Castle, Erica Charles of Muncie and Aaron Charles (Kelli) of Muncie; her grandchildren, Stephanie Dile (Jeff), Shane Gebhart, Shelby Gebhart, Kayla Helton (Levi), Jake Frost, Isabella Smith, Braydon, Brody Blaylock of McKinzie, DJ and Colton Charles; and her brothers, Wayne and Rick Egan. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church (1583 N County Rd 300 W, New Castle, IN 47362).
