She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Cole and Anna Mae Cole (Hurt); her former husband Ralph Upchurch; her husband Beecher Mason; her daughter Kerry Malpica; and her sisters, Janet Murphy and Joyce Lane Rayburn.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Poe, Trina Estes (Brett) and Tammy Reid (Terry); her son-in-law Carmelo Malpica; her grandchildren, Marcy Parish (James), Stephanie Pemberton (Archie), Aaron McGee (Tawni), Carmela Williams (Maurice), Carmelo Malpica Jr. (Jessica) and Karrisa Parker (Troy); her brother Dale Cole (Mary); and her caregiver Grace Reece. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service (3406 S Memorial Dr, New Castle, IN 47362). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cross Road Church (2548 IN-3, New Castle, IN 47362).
