It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen D. Finnegan of New Castle, Indiana, born in Muncie, Indiana, who passed away on September 3, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Bales and Edith Bales (Arthur); her husband Michael Finnegan; and her brothers, Paul, Gene and Wayne Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Mark McKinney of New Castle, Leon Cox of New Castle, Molli Finnegan (Brian Engle) of New Castle and Jon McKinney (Kathy) of New Castle; her grandchildren, Kyla Wilson Donahoe (Rob), Allen (Akiko Lunaris), David Dunham, Kate, Claire Wallace, Dalton Engle (Emily), Parker, Kyler and Cooper Engle; her great grandchildren, Brandilynn, Skyler, Jayci, Jordyn and Wyatt; and her sisters, Mary Slusher (Scottie) of Greenfield and Philenna Brookshire of Eaton, IN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
