He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James, Ruby Smith and Thelma Shelton; and his nephew Kyler Shelton. He is survived by: his parents, Ed Shelton and Debbie Shelton (Smith); his daughters, Kenzie and Ariel Shelton; his brother Aaron Shelton (Danielle); his niece Taylor Shelton; his nephew Elijah Shelton; the mother of his children Elizabeth Malson; his stepchildren, Alexias Gulley and Jessie Malson; and his close friends, Alex Bailey and Dennis Godby.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service (3406 S Memorial Dr, New Castle, IN 47362). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
