He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Albert Nickol; and his sister Robbie Rowland. He is survived by: his wife Jeanni Nickol (Hockenberry); his children, Michelle Reed of Tennessee, Candi Myers (Matthew) of Pennsylvania and Brian Hodson (Jennifer) of Texas; his stepson Courtney Black of Louisiana; his grandchildren, Travis Reed (Courtney), Haley Myers and Skylar Hodson; his great grandchildren, Garrison and Harrison "Harry" Reed; and his siblings, Rita Wormer (Randy) of Blountsville, Linda Wright of Tennessee and Jimmy Nickol (Diana) of Muncie, Indiana. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
