He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Watson and Doris Watson (Criswell); his brother Danny Watson; and his father-in-law Homer Pierce. He is survived by: his significant other Sherrie Watson; his children, Wendy Stearns (Ryan) and Jackie Watson; his granddaughters, Joslyn Watson and Kegan Watson; his siblings, Gladys Poss (Homer), Alta Hardgrove, Connie Thompson (Dave), Patricia Pierce (Rick) and Melvin Watson (Alisea); his brothers-in-law, Rick Pierce (Patricia) and Roger Pierce (Sandy); and his mother-in-law Wanda Bolden (Roy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
