It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Duane Clapp Sr. of New Castle, Indiana, who passed away on October 17, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Cleveland and Mary K. Clapp Sr. (Barbee); his wife Betty Clapp; his daughter Brenda Brattain; and his siblings, Charles Clapp, James Thomas Clapp, George Clapp, Grover Cleveland Clapp Sr., RoseMary Beacon (Clapp) and Daisy Norris (Clapp).
He is survived by: his children, Daryl Shannon (Dawn), Tammy Lybarger (Terry), Larry Clapp Jr. (Stephanie) and Jerry Clapp (Kellie); his son-in-law Jason Brattain (Jessica); his siblings, Jean Spence (George) and Don Clapp (Sandy); and his grandchildren, Blake, Cory, Cassidy, Shelby and Jessie Ann. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
