She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Gross and Hattie Gross (Anderson); her daughter Marsha Joan Sweet; her stepfather Gilbert Reger; her siblings, Raymond Gross, Jerry Reger and Marsha Joan Reger; and her siblings-in-law, Darlene Gross, Bonnie Gross and Stephen Schuyler.
She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Manning (Dale) of Greensboro; her stepson Jimmy Smith of Richmond; her grandchildren, Gressa Riggs (Steven Penrose), Jason Manning (Nicki) and Melissa Manning; her great grandchildren, Noah Riggs (Sydney), Cole Manning, Abigail Manning, Bailey Butcher, Madeline Manning, Robbie Smith, Jamie Hay, Cooper Penrose and Lauren Penrose; and her siblings, Ronald Gross, Lonnie Reger (Sandra) and Connie Schuyler.
