In loving memory of Martha Shore (New Castle, Indiana), who departed this world on May 31, 2025 at the age of 82. Martha leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Laufer and Anna Laufer; her husband Donald Shore; and her siblings, Dorothy Horman, Emma Laufer, Erwin Laufer and Norman Laufer.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Poor (David), Dianna Dowdy (Gregg) and David Shore (Mindy); her grandchildren, Zachary Poor, Hannah Roberts (Ethan), Averie Shore, Korryn Shore, Nathan Dowdy, Grace Cherry (Matthew) and Luke Dowdy; and her great grandchild Cherry. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews & cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rose City Funeral Home (2011 Broad St, New Castle, IN 47362). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
