It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary E. Williams of New Castle, Indiana, who passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid adieu to Mary E.'s earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Mary E. has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Young and Rosemary Young (Blank); her brother Denny; and her sister-in-law Donna Young. She is survived by: her husband Bob Williams; her children, Stephen Williams (Dawn), Susan Williams and Sherry Sweetland (Ed); and her granddaughter Amanda Williams. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Anne Catholic Church (1904 Broad St, New Castle, IN 47362). A Mass will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Anne Catholic Church or to The Cottage at Stonebrooke Rehabilitation Center.
