Monte Jay Jackson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Monte Jay Jackson of New Castle, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 10, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Monte Jay may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Jackson and Joanne Jackson. He is survived by: his sons, Andrew Thomas Jackson (Seattle) and Derek Jay Jackson (Boston); and his brother Brian Jackson of New Castle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the South Mound Cemetery (505 Bundy Ave, New Castle, IN 47362).
