She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Conway and Ruth Conway (Catt); her sisters, Carolyn Sue Conway and Mary Beth Van Arsdol; and her brother-in-law Carl Brausa.

She is survived by: her children, David Van Hoose (Carol) of Mebane, Benjamin Van Hoose (Beth) of Kingman, Arizona and Dorothy Shopp (Rick) of New Castle; her grandsons, Joshua Shopp, Matthew Van Hoose, Andrew Van Hoose and Michael Van Hoose; her great grandchildren, Luna, Veda, Edith, Ingrid and Elias; her niece Amy Madden of Hillsboro, IN; and her sister Sylvia Narula of Ojai. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
