It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Norma J. Matney (New Castle, Indiana), who passed away on September 18, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Norma is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Norma's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her father Harold; her husband Myron Matney; and her sister Vivian Johnson. She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Matney (Norma) of Muncie and Penny Thompson (LeRoy) of Defiance; and her close friend Brad Golden. She is also survived by three grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
