With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nova M. Edmonds of New Castle, Indiana, born in Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on January 23, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Privett and Mary Ola Privett (Rollins); her husband Don Edmonds; her son Robert Edmonds; her son-in-law Buckey Voiles; and her siblings, Denzil Privett, Dorman Privett, Ed Privett, Robert Privett, Omer Privett and Gloria Ridenour.
She is survived by: her children, Gene Edmonds of Shelbyville, Eva Edmonds of New Castle, Mary Voiles of New Castle and Lora Voiles of New Castle; her daughter-in-law Tammy Edmonds of New Castle; her grandchildren, Desirea Voiles (Marques Williams) of New Castle, Wayne Voiles of New Castle, Marlene Wyatt (Tim) of New Castle, Scott Guffey of Greensburg and Connie Catron (Dale) of New Castle; her great grandchildren, Makayla Thurman (Noah), Tinzleigh Williams, Draya Williams, Diamond Voiles (Kevin Barnett), Kiana Voiles (Caleb McCreery), Tanner, Cooper, Lylah Wyatt, Star Guffey, Jade Ramirez, Tristan Guffey, Cierra Pruitt (Dustin) and DJ Catron of New Castle; her great great grandchildren, Crue Thurman, Abazyah Guffey, Kensley Pruitt and Dakota Pruitt; her sisters, June Wiley, Jane Deaton of Mooreland and Etta Taylor; and her close friend Elizabeth Loy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
