He was predeceased by : his parents, Harley Constant and Adelia Constant (Cooper); his daughter Jill Constant; his grandsons, Jay and Timmy Constant; his sister Erma Landis; his stepdaughter Kimberly Burk; and his brothers, Bud Cooper and Richard Cooper.

He is survived by : his wife Karen Constant of New Castle; his children, Jay Constant (Pamela) of Pensacola, FL and Megan Walker (Tony) of Martinsville; his stepsons, Brad Burk (Jen) of Zionsville, Troy Burk of Indianapolis and Mark Cooper (Teresa); his grandchildren, Cody Walker (Stevi) of Martinsville, Mariah Walker of Indianapolis, Haley Walker of Martinsville, Melody Shideler (Austin) and Margo Constant; his stepgrandchildren, Isabel Burk, Patrick Burk, Finnagin, Phoebe Burk, Nate Burk, Lucy Burk and Sam Burk; his great grandchildren, Tyler Constant, Jalynn Gann, Katelin Gann and Anderson Shideler; and his nephews, Ronnie Landis and Greg Landis.
