He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Coffey and Alice Bell Coffey (Brown); his son Stephen Coffey; his grandson Cody Wood; his great grandchild Blaine Lee; and his close friend Paul Lowe.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Coffey; his children, Valerie Coffey, Brad Coffey (Rita), Mark Coffey (Lora), Bryant Coffey (Paula) and Brother Donald Coffey (Ruby); and his siblings, James Coffey, Dewey Coffey, Truman Coffey, Viola Marcum, Patricia Coffey, Vickie Kahle and Lea Atkinson. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
