She was predeceased by: her parents, James R. Bates and Sarah E. Bates (Sheppard); her husband Jeffrey Jones; her sister Connie Bates; her sibling's children, Amie Lynn and Alex Brent Zahnle; and her in-laws, Merle and Thelma Jones.
She is survived by: her sisters, Belinda Bates Zahnle (Mark) of Cle Elum, WA and Judie Tyner (Bob) of Dublin; her siblings' children, Beth Smitherman (David) of New Castle and Jeremy Culbertson (Christy) of Greensburg; her brother Jack Hannum (Cheryl) of New Castle; her siblings' children, Leah Durham (Kolby), Philip Hinson (Joe) and Paul Hannum (Katherine); and also Kody. She is also survived by several cousins and many special friends.
