He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Hanson and Grace Hanson (Woollett); his son Daniel Hanson; and his siblings, Donald, Bernard Hanson and Marjorie Gundlach.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Alexander Hanson; his children, Ceil Martin and Robert Hanson (Dawn); his grandchildren, Christopher Hanson (Kayli), Alan Lyon (Sarah), Patrick Hanson, Spenser Hanson (Abigail), Eric Hanson, Amanda Mace (Cameron) and Cooper Hanson; and his sister Joyce Blackwell. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and a special brother in law and family.
