He was predeceased by: his parents, William Guy Showalter, Sr. and Beatrice Joyce Showalter-Riggs (Sandlin); his siblings, John Showalter and Dori Riggs; and his niece Brandy Blackburn.
He is survived by: his wife Donna M. Showalter; his children, Angela Showalter, Brooke Showalter, Lucus Wright (Abi) and Amber Wright; his grandchildren, Ryan Cowan (Katie), Charlie Wright, Lucy Wright and Rosie Wright; his great grandchildren, Gracie and James Cowan; his siblings, Jeanette Showalter Stewart, Cindi Sare, Joe Riggs, Julie Reynolds and Renee Brown; and his mother-in-law Ida Reynolds. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
