He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Pugh and Bessie Pugh (Owens); his children, Jon Fearin, Vickie and Pamela Pugh; his siblings, Bob Pugh, Zack Pugh, Delbert Owens, Pat Pugh, Marie Gauker and Faye Smith; and his son-in-law Melvin Manning.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Pugh (Fugett); his children, Julie Rigney (Jason), Jeff Fearin, Joyce Fearin-Robinson (Terry), Billy Pugh, Scott Pugh and Judy Manning; his grandchildren, Angela Bass (Adam), Matthew Carter (Angelia), Tyler Carter (Devon), John Carter (Aubrey), Randi Frost, Jeffery Fearin (Jen), Josey, Joel, Whitney, Justin Fearin, Dionne Pugh, Shane Benjamin (Danielle), Sean Benjamin (Noah), Tiffany Miller (Deryk), Chris and Josh Robinson; his great grandchildren, Layla, Truxton, Knoxlee, Cartier, Chloe, Rylee, Payton, Dylan, Lillian, Zander, Thomas, Ryan, Vinson, Ronin, Saiyan, Amaris, Myles and Malaky; his siblings, Cecil Pugh and Della McCombs; and his close friend John Goble (late Beth). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service (3406 S Memorial Dr, New Castle, IN 47362). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
