John Pate Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Pate of New Harmony, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on June 6, 2025 at the age of 55, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Gene Pate; his brother Todd A. Pate; and his grandparents, Victor, Laura Dick, Mel and Nancy Pate.
He is survived by: his mother Patricia Beckgerd (Dick) of Evansville; his wife Dana Pate; his sons, Cody Pate of New Harmony, Collin Pate of New Harmony and Curtis Pate (Autumn Oehlstrom) of New Harmony; his sisters, Jenny Weilbrenner (Alex) of Mt. Vernon and Jody Danhauer (Jim) of Wadesville; his brothers-in-law, Robert Huntsman, Donald Huntsman (Brooke), Russell Huntsman (Lacey) and Andrew Huntsman (Amanda); his parents-in-law, Dianne Kite (Dan) and Ronald Huntsman (Shirley); his nieces and nephews, Ellie (Brayden), Emma Ann, Clay, Austin, Jesse, Blake, Haylee, Kane, Jacob and Lexi; and also Mary Cashion.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew's Catholic Church (421 Mulberry St, Mt Vernon, IN 47620).
