She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Herman and Louise Jennings (Walker); her husband Rex Morris; and her siblings, Charlotte Crutcher and Fred Jennings.

She is survived by: her children, Cindy Smotherman (Jeff), Randy Polson (Christine) and Jamiel Morris; her sister Debra Jennings; her grandchildren, Sarah (Maxx), Andrea Smotherman, Kenzie LaLande, Nia Faye and Kane Morris; her nieces, Paula Butler, Rita Cummings and Leah Cummings; her nephew Jason Jennings; and her pet Taco.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Springdale Cemetery.
