She was predeceased by: her parents, Reinhard Werling and Wilma Werling (Wefel); her husband Carl Witte; and her sister Rosella Rekeweg. She is survived by: her daughters, Deanna Ringenberg and Cynthia Strautman (Rodney); her brother Leroy Werling; and her daughter Ritva of Finland. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church (7710 E State Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815).
