She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlie Bach and Lula Bach (Wooten); and her husband John. She is survived by: her children, Mike, James, Shirley, Carlie and Kellie Smithson (Keith); her grandchildren, Steven Jackson (Lisa), Rodney Smithson Jr. (Tonya), Chris Smithson (Amanda), Tabitha Trzynka (Andrew), Mike Smithson (Bethany), Brandon Gammons and Julee Rine (Nick); and her great grandchildren, Aydan, Taylor, Alyssa Jackson, Madison Martin, Isabella Roach (Cameron), Regan Smithson, Karter, Finn, Lucas Rine, Gabriella, Cohen, Hudson and Quinn Trzynka.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the D. O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley (1320 E Dupont Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46825). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
