He was predeceased by: his parents, Durward Gardner and Mildred Gardner (Seiple); his son Edward; his siblings, Durward Wayne (Billie), Glenn Gardner (Yvonne) and Gretchen Hock; and his son-in-law Alan Louden.
He is survived by: his children, Duane Gardner and Elaine Louden. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Preferred memorials are to East Allen County Church of Christ.
