He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lomont and Gloria Lomont (Laycoff). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lomont; his daughters, Tina Rorick, Linsey Leitch (Josh), Audrey Lomont (Zachary Rorick) and Becky Lomont (Spencer Sharrar); his stepsons, Josh Stice and Aaron Stice (Amber); and his sisters, Kathy McDonald (Layne), Julie Rouches (Keith Ferguson), Jackie Barr and Suzie Burkhart (John). He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 4 step great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, August 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, August 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Louis Besancon Catholic Church (15535 Lincoln Hwy E, New Haven, IN 46774). A graveside service was held on Friday, August 29th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the St Louis Besancon Cemetery (15535 Lincoln Hwy E, New Haven, IN 46774).
