He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Weidner and Helen Helm (Ray); and his siblings, Mary Jo Presnell, Kristine "Krissy" Williams and Charles Weidner.

He is survived by: his wife Pam; his sons, Dan Weidner (Lisa), Jerry Weidner (Jessie) and Jamie Miller (Jan); and his siblings, Kay Mosure (Don), Kathy Bischoff (Duke), Carol Montgomery (Tom Gettys), Peggy Weidner (Mike Bahnsen), Julia Webb (Ricky), Laura Olmeda and John Weidner. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.
