We bid farewell to Daniel N. Trabel of New Haven, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 7, 2025 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Trabel and Evelyn Trabel (Rorick); his wife Margaret Trabel; his brothers, Marvin Trabel and Paul Trabel; and his siblings-in-law, Virgil Merkel and Jane Purvis.
He is survived by: his sons, Nick Trabel (Amy) and Phil Trabel (Mary); his siblings, Carol Merkel, Janice Bruce, Eugene Trabel (Barbara), Joyce Trabel, Barbara Trabel, Ila Beck (James), Roberta Doust (Thomas), Diana Trabel, Richard Trabel (Tina), Robert Trabel (Debra), Gregory Trabel (Angie) and Mary Lynne Franke; his grandchildren, Ava, Vivien, Morgan and Izzy; and his siblings-in-law, Marlene Trabel, Mary A. Trabel, Mary Jo Purvis and Paul Purvis (Sue). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
