He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Amstutz and Marie Amstutz (Rousch); his wife Gloria Amstutz (Panning); and his siblings, Freeman, Oscar, Art, Alvin, Fred, Kenneth Busche, Martha Essex and Mildred Amstutz.
He is survived by: his sons, James Amstutz (Shianne) of Fort Wayne and Anthony Amstutz (Stacy) of Fort Wayne; his grandchildren, Scott (Lynell), Kevin (Natalie), Jacob (Alexis), Andrew and Kaitlyn Amstutz; and his great grandchildren, Genevieve and Noelle Amstutz.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Concordia Lutheran Church (4245 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46815).
Preferred memorials are to Concordia Lutheran Church, or St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
