It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Eugene Gallmeyer (New Haven, Indiana), born in Decatur, Indiana, who passed away on October 20, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Conrad Gallmeyer and Martha Gallmeyer (Buuck); his siblings, Erna Koenemann, Delbert Gallmeyer, Robert Gallmeyer and Julaine Hockemeyer; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Gallmeyer.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Ann; his children, Jeanenne Gallmeyer of Fort Wayne, Scott Gallmeyer of New Haven and Marla Maier of Carmel; his siblings, Delores Nahrwold (Dave) of New Haven and Jerry Gallmeyer of Decatur; and his brother-in-law Larry Hockemeyer. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and 2 step grandchildren.

Preferred memorials are to the church, Elara Caring Hospice, Fort Wayne, and American Diabetes Association.
