We are sad to announce that on July 4, 2025, at the age of 83, Edward Arthur Walter Herman (New Haven, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norbert Herman and Selma Herman (Foerster); his wife Margaret "Ann" Herman; and his brother Michael M. Herman. He is survived by: his children, Pamela Herman, Jennifer Hoffman (Rick), Jeffrey Herman (Karla), Kristina Fraser (Jeffrey) and Sarah Martin (John); his brothers, David Herman (Suzanne) and DuWayne Herman (Kathy); and his grandchildren, Zachary Hoffman (Holly), Zane Hoffman (Sarah), Austin Herman (Cassandra), Alex Herman (Bridget), Anna McCormick (Zach), Audrey Sims (Parker), Shelby Lich (Alex), Chad Fraser (Reagan), Carson Fraser (Autumn Lorntz), Hannah Martin and Caleb Martin (Melody). He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Harper's Community Funeral Home (740 IN-930, New Haven, IN 46774). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
