It is with sadness that the passing of James S. Webb Sr. of New Haven, Indiana is shared. James, born on July 25, 1931, passed away on September 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dayton Webb and Ethel Webb (Shutt); his son Dennis; and his siblings, Lewis, Dayton Jr. and Maxine.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Girardot; his children, James Webb Jr. (Mary), Pamela Webb and Jeffrey Webb (Jamesanna); and his grandchildren, Amy Lee, Christle (Tom), Brad McBride (Kathleen), Amy McBride and Stacy Webb (Corey Ball). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Covington Memorial Funeral Home (8408 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Covington Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home (8408 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be directed to Clothes for Joes.
