Janice Irene Gilreath Obituary
We announce the death of Janice Irene Gilreath (New Haven, Indiana), who passed away on September 24, 2026, at the age of 91. Janice will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Belmont Ott and Myrtle Ott (Holderman); her husband Victor Gilreath; her siblings, Gene Ott and Sue Pyburn; her sister-in-law Loyce Wenzel (Richard); and her son-in-law Dabe P. Maloley.
She is survived by: her significant other Angel; and her children, Bruce E. Gilreath (Sandra), Marla J. Voirol (Jim), Sandra K. Maloley and Joe A. Gilreath. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and four nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Emanuel Lutheran Church (800 Green St, New Haven, IN 46774).
Preferred memorials are to the church or Worship Anew.
