She was predeceased by : her parents, Lafayette "Lafe" Ellsworth Shank and Mary Myrtle Shank (Strong); her siblings, Evelyn Crabill, Rupert and Joseph Shank; her husband John "Jack" F. Walls; her former life partner Richard E. Pettyjohn; and her stepdaughter Janet L. Walls.
She is survived by : her sons, Steven Pettyjohn (Lynn) of North Ridgeville, OH and Rick Pettyjohn (Karen) of Convoy, OH; her stepson John L. Walls (Linda) of Ft. Wayne, IN; her grandchildren, Stacie Pettyjohn of Alexandria, VA, Mark Pettyjohn of Columbus, OH, Lee Pettyjohn of Ft. Wayne and Patrick Pettyjohn (Lindsey) of Noblesville, IN; her stepgranddaughter Christina Schroeder of Ottawa, OH; and her nephews, Jack Crabill and Joe Shank. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great-grandchildren.
