Matthew James Nord Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew James Nord (New Haven, Indiana), who passed away on July 7, 2025, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Rev. Donald Nord; and his sister-in-law Sherri Nord. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Nord; and his siblings, Donald Nord, Paul Nord, Rose Wilkins, Dana Ecker (Ralph), Jessica Nord and Nicole Brown (Colin). He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church (7710 E State Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815).
Preferred memorials are to Shepherd's House, Fort Wayne or St. Peter's Lutheran Church Music Department.
