We bid farewell to Otto A. Bradtmueller Jr. of New Haven, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 4, 2025 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto A. Bradtmueller, Sr. and Louise Bradtmueller (Hitzeman); his siblings, Edward Bradtmueller, Robert Bradtmueller, Wilmer Bradtmueller and Irene Kruse; and his granddaughter Catarina Fritz.
He is survived by: his children, Christie Biddlecome (Richard) of Coker, Alabama, Carla Fritz (Jeff) of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Vicki Fitzgerald (John) of New Haven, Indiana, Mark Bradtmueller (Jennifer) of New Haven, Indiana and Brian Bradtmueller of New Haven, Indiana; his foster daughter Dora Boyd of Indianapolis, Indiana; and his sister-in-law Marlis Bradtmueller of Hoagland, Indiana. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; ten and a half great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and two foster grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 8:15 AM to 9:15 AM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church (7710 E State Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers preferred memorials can be given to St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana, or Christian Community Health Care, and can be mailed to Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, 520 North 2nd Street, Decatur, Indiana 46733.
