He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Charles Bard and Pauline Coyle; his wife Gwen; his daughters, Jill Thomas (Eric) and Kris Gabbard (Doug); his grandchildren, Zachary Thomas, Lauren Thomas, Jocelyn Gabbard and Bryce William Gabbard; and his siblings, Richard Bard, Opal Kreigh and Mary Byerly.
