She was predeceased by: her parents, August Mearling and Orpha Mearling (Miller); and her sisters, Doris Reinbolt (Donald) and Vernice Gish (Bart). She is survived by: her husband Joseph Hawkins; and her children, Joella Potter (Harold) of Tucson and Garth Hawkins of Woodbury. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
