Florence Claudene Cecil Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2023, at the age of 84, Florence Claudene Cecil of New Palestine, Indiana, born in Oneida, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Wheaton Slaven and Pearl Slaven (Terry); her husband Gordon Eugene Cecil; her siblings, Leda Imogene Slaven, Brenda Brenneman and Bruce Slaven; her grandparents, Daniel, Minnie Anderson (Terry), Robinson Crusoe and Ora Ellen Slaven (Wheaton); and her brother-in-law Bobby Sandiford.
She is survived by : her siblings, Sarah, Aaron, Nash and Zed; her children, Rebecca A. McDaniel (Monte), Michael L. Cecil and Stephen E. Cecil; her grandchildren, Halee Mathies (Mitchell), Amanda McDaniel and Luke McDaniel; her great grandchild Maverick Mathies; her sister Pat Sandiford; her aunt Irene Davidson; her brothers-in-law, Donnie Bowlin and Jeffrey Brenneman; her close friends, Kim Cocke and Barbara McDaniel; and also, Vanessa Roberts and Ray Liston. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
