He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter A. Kines and Ruth E. Kines (Tice); his sister Margaret Kines (Peggy); and his grandson Miles Matuszewski. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Kines (Jameson); his children, Kelly Matuszewski (Paul) of Chicago and Jeff Kines (Ashley) of McCordsville; his grandchildren, Carina Matuszewski, Pier Matuszewski, Avery Kines, Drew Kines and Logan Kines; and his niece Beth Farley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for the future expenses of his grandchildren's college expenses.
