He is survived by: his wife Carol Smoker (Cripe); his children, Shelly Renee Showalter (Bruce), Lisa Lynne Skibbe (John) and Anthony "Tony" David Smoker (Saundra); his grandchildren, Michelle Griffith (Darren), Brad Showalter (Rebecca), Dennis Skibbe, Steven Skibbe (Emily), Karmen Rensberger (Tyler), Jason Skibbe (Jennifer), Jessica Gilreath (Derek), Eric Smoker (Kelli) and Aaron Skibbe; his great grandchildren, Vienna, Crosby Griffith, Jackson Showalter, Connor, Charlotte, Finneas Skibbe, Sadie, Cooper Rensberger, Simon, Elizabeth Skibbe, Sophia, Theodore and Malia Gilreath; and also Marietta Mishler.
