She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Hess and Charlotte Hess (Anglemyer); her husband Dean Everest; and her daughter Debbie McElheny. She is survived by: her children, Rick Everest (Jill) of New Paris, Shari Searer (Gary) of Nappanee and Peggy Wisler (Jeff) of New Paris; her son-in-law Jeff McElheny of Goshen; her grandchildren, Benjamin Wisler (Clairin), Everest Gonzalez (Matthew), Nathan Searer and Cassy White (Tanner); and her sisters, June Cleveland of Goshen and Nancy Hoffman of Boston, GA.. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Union Center Church of the Brethren (70535 Co Rd 11, Nappanee, IN 46550). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in Lorita's name can be given to either Heartland Hospice or Union Center Church of the Brethren.
