He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville R. Lutes and Louise I. Lutes (Vail); his wife Florence Louise Hixson; and his sister Phyllis Feaster. He is survived by: his children, Ralph Lutes (Melba), Mary Ann Holderman (Dale) and Richard "Rick" Lutes (Amy) of Hampshire, IL; his granddaughters, Tina Martin (Ken) and Stacy Lutes; his great grandchildren, Audrianna and Derrick Martin; his sister Sue Neff; and his sister-in-law Linda Hollinger (Roger). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be given to the New Paris Lions Club or to Grace United Methodist Church, New Paris.
