With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rodney Lanter of New Paris, Indiana, who passed away on July 30, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Teddy Lanter; his siblings, Ranate Lanter Brock and Robbie Lanter; his sister-in-law Jolene Lanter; and his parents-in-law, Bessie McDaniel and Dave McDaniel.

He is survived by: his mother Yvonne Anderson Lanter; his wife Penny McDaniel Lanter; his brother Reagan Lanter; his sister-in-law Kim Lanter; and his pets, Limley, Stitch and Jubilee. He is also survived by nieces & nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins.

Memorial contributions are encouraged for the Riley Children's Foundation, 30 South Meridian Street.
