He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Donald" Rhoads and Kathryn Rhoads (Mercer); and his brothers, Tom Rhoads and Gale Rhoads. He is survived by: his wife Karen Rhoads; his children, Neil Ramie, Julie Fenton (Chris), Emily Rhoads and Damon Rhoads (Kesha); his grandchildren, Marin, Marley Rhoads, Ben, Chloe Gurule, Emmy, Anna Fenton, JaJuan, Isaiah and Mikah Phillips; his great grandchild Malaya Phillips; and his brothers, Dave Rhoads (Sheila) and Keith Rhoads (Melinda). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Servies Funeral and Cremation Services, Ladoga Chapel (203 N Washington St, Ladoga, IN 47954). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Southmont FFA or Montgomery County 4-H, honoring Dan's lifelong dedication to agriculture, education, and supporting future generations.
